Why Did LOTL Move?

Life On The Land started as a dream, a blog and then a business. When you’ve been a steward of a parcel of land for so many years, it becomes part of you and that connection is hard to break.

My life has changed in the most wonderful way. My wife and three children are so beautiful to me and as a family unit we decided that in order to meet our holistic goals in life we needed to relocate the farm. So that’s what we did.

Our new farm is located in Romsey Victoria. A beautiful 250 acre parcel of land with grey and red volcanic soils – the perfect place to grow our pasture raised livestock for our customers.

One chapter ends and another begins. I can’t wait to share it with all of you.

I am looking to follow in your footsteps….I am so far behind you that I can barely see you in the distance 🙂

    Hello Steven,

I came across your blog whilst googling “can chickens eat cape weed” (I think mine are too well fed, as they wont).
I was instantly hooked and “binge-read” your updates. We have a long list of “to dos” on our place, each resulting in another action.
We have renovated and stocked our chook run, reserected our neglected orchard and found the joy of bottling. The plans and lists goes on. The work can be physically hard, as you can attest to, but very rewarding.
I am sorry to hear you have moved from nearby Tallarook to Romsey.
Congratulations on your journey and do keep us posted!
